A dream called Maldives part 2

Il post di oggi è dedicato al mondo sommerso e a tutti i suoi abitanti, ovviamente sto ancora parlando delle Maldive e in particolare dell'Isola di Kuramathi. 

Penso che non ci sia bisogno di tante parole...

Today's post is dedicated to the underwater world and all its inhabitants, of course I'm still talking about the Maldives and in particular the island of Kuramathi.

I think there is no need of many words ...

A dream called Maldives

Qui oggi è brutto tempo, piove, fa freddo c'è nebbia... così per la durata di un post possiamo sognare insieme il paradiso!
Nel 2011 io e M. abbiamo deciso di regalarci un sogno, un viaggio alle Maldive,
per cui dopo un consulto con un'agenzia di viaggi molto competente, si chiama Caldieri, abbiamo scovato un'isoletta che faceva proprio al caso nostro, esclusivamente con animazione internazionale. Solo le foto del depliant ci facevano emozionare, pensavamo che se anche solo avessimo trovato un quarto della bellezza che ci facevano vedere sarebbe stato fantastico.
Here is today's bad weather, it's raining, it's cold, foggy ... so for the duration of a post we can dream together the heaven!
In 2011, I and M.  decided to give us a dream: a trip to Maldives.
So after a consultation with a travel agency very competent, is called Caldieri, we found an island that was just for us, only with international entertainment. Only photos of the brochure made us excited, we thought that if we had found only a quarter of the beauty that we did see was fantastic.

Così, preparati i bagagli, abbiamo preso una serie interminabile di mezzi di trasporto: macchina per l'aereoporto, bus dal parcheggio all'aereoporto, aereo, bus, piccolo aereomobile per l'isola, barca....e finalmente siamo arrivati al Kuramathi Island Resort (se finito il post volete continuare a sognare vi consiglio di visitare il sito).


So prepared our bags, we took an endless series of means of transport: car to the airport, bus from the car park at the airport, plane, bus, small aircraft to the island, boat .... and finally we arrived at Kuramati Island Resort (if over the post you want to continue to dream I recommend you visit the site).

Acque cristalline, pontili di legno che passano sopra un acquario naturale, spiagge bianche e candide, una natura verde incantevole...senza parole!

Crystal clear waters, wooden jetties that pass over a natural aquarium, white beaches, a lovely green nature ... speechless!

Prima cosa da fare, mettere giù le valigie e togliersi scarpe e ciabatte che si rimetteranno prima di tornare a casa, costume e via ad esplorare l'isola che è lunga 2 km...

Le strade sono come le vedete qui sopra.

First thing to do, put down your bags and take off shoes and slippers that you wear again before you return home, bikini and go to explore the island which is 2 km long ...

The streets are like you see above.

E presto tra un bagno e l'altro arriva sera anche qui... quello che vediamo è molto meglio di quello che ci aspettavamo, quando mai capita?!?!?
La settimana purtroppo passa in fretta ma ho ancora molte altre foto da mostrarvi per cui vi aspetto nel prossimo post! 


And soon after some baths  evening comes here ... what we see is a lot better than what we expected, when did it happen?!!?

It's projects time!

Buongiorno

oggi vi propongo una serie di immagini da cui prendere spunto per creare il nostro studio a casa. A me piace molto la scrivania bianca e che abbia un bel cassetto capiente.

Mi piacciono anche le scrivanie di legno grezzo, anche se per lavorare con il computer e scrivere non sono molto funzionali se sono troppo grezze.

Mi piacciono le scatoline e i contenitori per suddividere le varie cosette.

La mia scrivania è uguale a quella della prima immagine, è dell'Ikea e a parte il cassetto che non è molto estraibile mi trovo abbastanza bene.

Adoro il bianco  perchè è un colore rilassante e ti permette di accostarci tutti i colori, è un colore luminoso e poi è la versione maschile del mio nome!

Mi piacciono le scrivanie vicino alle finestre...l'ideale sarebbe davanti ad una finestra che guarda delle colline, un giardino o un parco...e poi mi perderei nei miei sogni ad occhi aperti.

L'accessorio sopra la scrivania che mi piace molto è una piantina o dei fiori e una piccola candela.

Goodmorning

today I propose a series of images from which to take inspiration to create our home office. I really like the white desk and having a good drawer.

I also like the rough wooden desks, even if to work with the computer and writing are not very functional if they are too rough.

I like boxes and containers to divide the various things.

My desk is the same to that of the first image, from Ikea, and apart from the drawer that is not very extractable I am pretty satisfied.

I love the color white because it is a relaxing color and allows you to approach all the colors. It is a bright color and then the it's the male version of my name!

I like the desks near the windows ... ideally in front of a window overlooking the hills, a garden or a park ... and then I lose in my daydreams.

The accessory over the desk that I really like is a plant or flowers and a small candle.

Key Largo a wonderful experience!

I viaggi sono una delle mie molte passioni, per cui oggi vi parlo di Key Largo!

Key Largo si trova all'inizio delle isole Keys, appena sotto Miami, una quarantina di isole che si susseguono collegate da ponti, fino ad arrivare all'ultima, Key West, che merita un post dedicato

Oggi mi soffermerò su Key Largo, dove ho lavorato per qualche tempo. 

Lungo il viaggio di possono incontrare cartelli stradali davvero strani per noi italiani.

Travel is one of my many passions, so today I tell you about of Key Largo!

Key Largo is at the beginning of the Florida Keys, just below Miami, forty islands connected by bridges that follow, until the last, Key West, that deserves a dedicated post.

Today I will focus on Key Largo, where I worked for some time.

Along the journey may encounter road signs really strange for us Italians.

Chi vive a Key Largo può non avere una macchina, ma deve avere assolutamente una barca a motore, a vela o a remi!

Who lives in Key Largo can not have a car, but absolutely must have a motor boat, sail or oars!

Con una barca si possono fare davvero esperienze memorabili, si raggiungono splendidi reef dove fare snorkeling, e godere di tramonti magici!

With a boat you can really make a memorable experience, you can reach beautiful reef to snorkel and enjoy the sunsets!

In quest'isola si trova un centro di delfino terapia, dove aiutano bambini diversamente abili con l'aiuto di delfini.

In this island there is a dolphin therapy center, where they help children with disabilities with the help of dolphins.

Che dire...il mare è splendido sia di giorno che al tramonto, gli abitanti parlano inglese, anche se molte volte parlano meglio lo spagnolo. 

Si respira una calma e una tranquillità che si differenzia notevolmente dalla movida di Miami. 

Durante il  mio soggiorno in quei fantastici posti ho incontrato delle belle persone che porto sempre nei miei ricordi più profondi: thanks to Julia and Mandy.

What about ... the sea is beautiful by day and at sunset, the people speak English, even though many times they speak better Spanish.

It exudes a calm and tranquility that is very different from the nightlife in Miami.

During my stay in the fantastic places I have met some really nice people that I always carry in my deepest memories: thanks to Julia and Mandy.
